Vol. 2. No. 12 – 22 March 1999
Interesting Reading:
Here’s some articles, web sites, or books that I’ve found interesting.
- Designing systems for intellectual property
KM World Magazine
- A simple article that focuses on how several different vendors can bring value to the process of managing intellectual property (patents & trademarks, etc.). It also looks at how several organizations are using these products.

- Corporate Change: A Culture of Innovation
Information Week
- This is not an editorial piece about knowledge management, but about speed and change. Yes, it focuses on key aspects of KM, culture, knowledge, and innovation, but it is all in the context of change. More directly it focuses on the need for speed and how culture plays an important role in allowing organizations to change fast enough to maintain a competitive advantage.

- How To Get The Most Out Of An Expert
InternetWeek
- This article left me wanting more, but was still interesting. We all try and ask the expert, but how do we find them? You’ll find a couple of examples and some interesting ideas in this article.

- Is Real Time Collaboration Crossing the Chasm?
Collaborative Strategies
- A look at where things are, and where they are going in the real-time collaboration marketplace. This article is filled with useful facts and figures as well as observations about the market, products and what we might be using in the future. This a part 1 of 2, so I’ll link to the second part when it gets posted.
