Vol. 7 No. 1 – 2006
Email news from KM News is a bit spotty as you all know. That doesn’t mean there’s a shortage of KM related news (although it is slower than in years past) just that there’s a shortage of time for me, the editor.
This issue of KM News is sponsored by: Collaborative Technologies Conference 2006
The Collaborative Technologies Conference helps forward-thinking IT and business professionals understand how technologies such as instant messaging, conferencing, shared workspaces, and VoIP can give their organizations a competitive advantage. The program addresses collaborative applications and the infrastructure required to support them, as well as the development of a cohesive strategy that fits your business needs, culture and goals. CTC 2006 will be held June 19 – 22, 2006 in Boston, MA. www.ctc2006.com

News:
I would like to suggest that people familiarize themselves with the Laws of Identity. Why are these “laws” relevant to KM you ask. Well, I believe that the combining of KM with Digital Identity Management makes inter and intra organizational knowledge sharing possible in a secure, reliable, and effective manner. It also provides a mechanism that integrates security, context, and presence, therefore providing greater relevance to KM processes.
