The virtual smoke break
Will enterprise social tools become the new smoke break? Let's face it the smoke break is becoming a thing of the past. I don't smoke, never have, but the smoke break has been one of the best KM tools around. What do people do when they smoke? They talk. Conversations are ultimate form of knowledge transfer. People talk about specific subjects, but they also tell stories, and telling stories is a wonderful form of sharing knowledge.
